Am I Developing A Bald Spot Or Just A Cowlick?

Okay so this has been stressing me out for quite some time now. I'm 24 and much to my annoyance have always had quite fine hair. For the past few months I have been paranoid about the crown of my head and would like to know whether this is MPD or just a cowlick. I know it has been like this for at least a few years as a couple of people have mentioned it and I haven't noticed any changes as far as I am aware at least. I would just like some reassurance so I can put my mind at rest. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
