Am I balding?

Pictures are always needed. No one can tell you the condition of your scalp without inspecting it.

Odds are, though, you're not losing your hair so young given your family history, but as you're inherently asking a medical question, you need to see a dermatologist specializing in hair loss if you want a proper evaluation.

thinning at the front and temples. see those miniaturizing hairs at the front? you can save them with finasteride and nizoral.

Honestly wait a year or two it's 1.25 Norwood

Pretty close to perfect, if it does recess just start taking propecia.

I think you'll be fine, but don't kid yourself. You may think nothing of it, but after a couple years *boop* NW3. Just be aware.

Thanks for the replies. So does this look like it could be male pattern baldness or could it be due to something else (such as the way I style my hair, stress, diet...etc)

I've read bizarre cases (not sure if I believe them honestly) of people lacking specific vitamins or whatever....and taking pills that some how (MAGICALLY) cure their hair loss. It could be anything, it wouldn't hurt to try to be healthier, but it could be male pattern baldness.
Just catch it before it recesses too much and you'll be okey dokey.
Not yet though.

Yeah maybe it could be my diet. I do eat a lot of carbs (specifically a lot of sugar). I'm taking a multivitamin but I don't eat enough fruits/vegetables, especially vegetables I barely eat any leafy greens. I also haven't been able to consistently get 8 hours of sleep every night. Could this possibly be why?

I know everyone is different but I've been a Norwood 2 for the past 5 years now without taking anything. It goes at different paces for everyone.

One thing I found interesting is that the right corner of my hairline is where there seems to be the most shedding, this is also where I part my hair everyday. Could that be why?
