Am I Balding?

Hi guys! I am 20 years old, and have no real family history of balding, in fact my dads side had extremely thick hair up until their 60s. just wanted to know if this looks like balding or simply a maturing hairline? Thanks!

A maturing hairline is another name for early signs of balding. The hair around your temples are the most sensitive to DHT, and therefore, they are usually the first to go. Maybe the rest of your hair is not sensitive to DHT, and you will keep that hairline for the next thirty years. The question is: do you want to take that chance, and start treatment when it becomes obvious?
