Hi lot of people pointed out that I'm balding but I haven't seen anything unusual since I'm 20 some people pointed this out but I don't notice any progression from this and now I'm 24.

Looks like a cowlick. Plus you have dark hair and light skin which exacerbates this and the photo looks to have been taken under very bright strong light. Skin is often visible where the hair changes direction. If you were balding at 20, your hair loss is likely to have been aggressive and would have progressed beyond this by now, and you would be able to see a loss of density across a larger, more uniform, area.

If you need peace of mind see a dermatologist and make sure they specialise in diagnosing male pattern baldness.

Thank you but I didn't want to consult dermatologist because they might suggest some pills or transplant unnecessarily.

I do understand that. I visited multiple dermatologists and if you tell them you think you're balding, they pretty much take your word for it and start prescribing medication or recommended PRP. So, I went to see one of the top UK hair transplants surgeons who offered PRP - he examined my hair and told me to go home, said I did not need any medication or treatment and that my hair was very good for my age. My hair is very similar to yours, it was the cowlick that made me think I was balding, but it has never changed.

Is there balding in your family? Is your hairline solid?

In cases like this, look for thinning hairs on the perimeter of the area. That implies an ongoing miniaturization. From the looks of it, your hair has a whispy “overlay”. Could be the lighting but I’d watch for it getting worse.
