When you say phase, are you under the impression that your lost hair is going to grow back ?
Unfortunately there are no phases . If you’ve lost hair, it’s gone . It’s not coming back . People on here will tell you minoxidil and finasteride are your only treatment options for now .

24 years old. I was wondering if I am balding or is this just a phase everyone goes through in life

That's definitely not a phase... It is highly likely to be androgenic alopecia. If you do want to regrow your hair significantly, there are risks...

Hormonal options such as finasteride are basically your only option. Finasteride does have its potential side effects with a small % of people being hit so badly it’s greatly reduced they’re quality of life. I tried 1mg of finasteride and got sides pretty badly so had to taper down to 0.25mg .

I don't think the shampoos will do much...
Finasteride could help, although I would recommend dutasteride over that.

It’s not about having high DHT , it’s a multitude of factors. It’s more to do with your sensitivity to DHT . To grow all your hair back you’d need estrogen . Even that it’s unlikely you’d get it all back . If you’re a risk taker then at this point your best bet is finasteride + minoxidil .

I do think he could a significant amount back if he decided to take an anti-androgen and estrogen, it just depends if he's willing to take the risk I guess...

That guys results are insane, the regrowth is amazing. He looks like he's a 16 year old. The estrogen, anti-androgen route honestly seems a little too extreme too me however. What about the more conventional fut/fue and finasteride???

Yeah man I would never recommend taking estrogen as a man . finasteride for me is as far as it goes .

Yeah, a majority of people wouldn't do the hormonal side although it is evidently effective. I do think you would be better off with the FUT/FUE along with finasteride.
