Hi,
I'm 23, last month I had hair that reached my shoulders in the back and bangs that almost reached my mouth until I had my hair cut.
My left side and my right side do not appear to be symmetrical. I can't remember whether or not that was always the case, but I think it might have been. Anyway, I'm obsessing about it and thinking about it night and day for a few weeks and would appreciate any response.
Genetics:
Paternal: Dad and his brothers are 70 with the same hairline they had at 20(!)
Maternal: Grandad was super bald at my age; maternal uncle is 50 with the same hairline he had at 20. Mom has a widows peak- I don't believe I have one? I don't know anything about maternal grandmother's parents. So, I don't know which X gene I inherited from mom.
I tug on my hair and generally never see a hair unless I pull kinda hard, which nets 1-2 hairs of medium to long length.
I don't have insurance or the money to see a dermatologist, so I welcome any opinion!
