Most asians have lower natural density and straight hair so it's going to be hard to judge.

Temples look unpronounced but you could just have a high forehead.
Well, I have a picture since I was a kid. Would you consider that I have a high forehead in this picture?

17 is unusually young to start losing hair. If you are losing your hair at such a young age then it would be evident in the other males in your family. Your father or maternal uncles would have suffered a similar fate.
If your father or maternal uncles are not Norwood 7s (which is the typical outcome for such early hair loss) then it’s probably just a part and unlikely that you’re losing your hair

As the above poster said, family history is a very good indicator. It is not a completely foolproof indicator though, because sometimes male pattern baldness can exist where there's no family history of it at all, and this is true for any age that it can occur. Your family history will give you a good indication though.

The part in your hair does look larger than average. Its hard to judge if you have hair loss to be honest. Do you have any photos that show your temple region more clearly, such as photos from a side angle that show your temples with your hair pulled back?
