Am I Balding? Hair Recession On One Side Only, 19.

I am 19, and i’m wondering if i’m balding. My dad is pretty bald, about a Norwood 5 at age 55, but lots of his brother have full heads of hair. On my mothers side, her brothers all have good heads of hair and even my grandpa hasn’t lost much at the age of 85. As you can see, my hair is only receded on he right side, with almost no recession for the left. Is this a normal hairline? Or does it mean i’m going bald. The hair at the top of my head is normal, thick even. Thanks!!!

Wait 6 months and take a picture and compare results. Although your maternal grandfather has good hair is good for you, your father being bald also plays a part in your hair.

Dude I'm the same age, my family tree is the exact same as yours (Bald dad but everyone else has hair on his side and my moms side all has a lot of hair) and I'm having the same problem my right sides thinning and the left side looks fine. I wish someone has an answer cause I'm hella curious too but what I've been reading we should be fine but who knows.
