I'm 21 and a few months ago i started to notice the hair around my crown area looks a bit thin, and recently I've become very paranoid about the whole thing.
A bit of background, My parents fathers all have a full head of hair and so do all my cousins and siblings, however one of my uncles has started to go bald. I did suffer from acne as a teenager and went through a range of different products to solve the acne issue but I haven't used any spot cream/drugs in 7+ years. I eat somewhat healthy everyday, I go to the gym 3/4 times a week mostly weight training, little to no cardio. Sleep wise i get around 5-7 hours daily. I'm currently in my 3rd year at university I am pretty stressed but I believe the hair thinning started before the stress. I currently suffer with spots on the back of my head (photos bellow), I've been to the doctors a few times but the spots are still there, I will be going back early this week.
Sidenote: I wash my hair once a day, I've tried Alpecin and T-Gel once but I'm currently using Plantur-39 should I stick to one of these shampoo's or does it not really matter. Additionally I use hairspray on my hair 1-2times a day, do you think I should lay back on the hair products or any recommendations for gels/waxes etc? lastly I get my hair cut every 2-4 weeks (Don't know if this is a contributing factor but I thought I would mention it anyway)
My question to you is, What do you think? Am I showing early signs of balding at the crown or is it paranoia? Do you have any recommendations? Product wise and lifestyle changes? And finally how can I prevent anymore hair loss in the future?
(All the photos bellow are taken today however the photographs of the spots were taken 2 months ago today they look a lot better, but the spots do come back in cycles for example this week they don't look inflamed or as red but in 2 weeks time they could be).
