Am I Balding At Just 21 Years Of Age?

I am 21 and recently i have been worried about my hairline. I'm not sure whether this my matured hairline or whether I'm developing Male pattern baldness.
It's been driving me crazy for a couple of days now.
On my mother's side there is no one with any significant baldness. And on my father's side people only got bald when they were in their sixties.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me here.

IMO your temples are receded back a bit. Go to a derm and see if Finasteride is right for you.

Do you have shedding (how much hairs falling)
If not, you don't need finasteride or likewise.

I dont think counting hairs is an adequate method for determining if one is balding.

Yes you are right, but if you are not sure about balding (spots), then it counts

You can compare with your older pictures if you want, but I think it seems normal.

It's hard to compare with old pictures since my temples are almost always hidden due to my long hair... Even here i had to pull my hair back to take this picture

You're heading towards a Norwood 2 which is considered early balding.

The good news is you caught this WAY early.

You have total control of this situation.

No balding at all, you should be happy.

Maybe balding on one side. One side could almost be considered a Norwood 1.5. The first picture of your temple is still nw1. Just monitor

Possibly balding, if I was a betting man, I'd say you are starting to go bald. But yeah, caught it early if so and it's totally manageable at this early stage to treat it, recover some ground and keep your hair for a long time
