Hello,

Well I finally decided to start using Kirkland Minoxidil 2 days ago. When i applied (morning and night) I notice some slight redish to my scalp but it went away.

The 2nd day, I applied the min..in the morning same thing, before i applied the night application. I notice my scalp was getting really itchy, so i itched it a little and applied the night application. When i woke up this morning my scalp was really itchy and my scalp is extracting pus and its really pink. Also it seem like the area i itch now, seem like the skin is broken and pus it coming out..witht the area that isnt broken as well.

I know that i didnt itch it that hard to break the skin.

I tried rogaine before when i was in college and had the same result so stop after a few days also.

So im thinking at this point that i am allergic to it or i have senative scalp.

Has this happen to anyone else b4?

Anyone have any input?

thanks

This hasn't happened to me, but I have heard of many people on this board who get itching, inflamation, etc from minoxidil. Sometimes they can cure it with a good anti-itch shampoo, but sometimes they just get off of it.

itching is normal....but the pus is not...maybe the pus is the result of your severe scratching in the itching parts

Some rare cases show these effects from allergic reaction to PPG formula used in Rogaine and minoxidil solutions.

Are you allergic to any soaps, makeups etc??
If you are, then I'd suggest looking at http://www.minoxidil.com and ordering Dr Lees PPG free minoxidil if you still want to use minoxidil.

Nope, im not allergic to any soap or anything else i know of.

The scalp irrations are turning into somewhat like blisters excreting pus...to the area i applied the minoxidil. Im really getting worry now...the whole top and frontal portion of my red irratated and red with blisters.
