I'm 18 years old and I would like to hold on to my hair as long as possible. I've been on finasteride for about a month and a half and it seem as though my hair is still thinning?... Not sure..

This is me when I started finasteride

seems thinner to me and all I really want in maintenance cause the balding isn't really too noticeable to other people yet but it probably will be within 6 months if the finasteride doesn't work!

I'm currently using regenpure as well as the finasteride so all i'm not using of the big 3 is minoxidil...

I'm thinking about starting up dutasteride since with the amount of DHT it blocks my hairloss should stop yes?

Your hair looks the same. You have to give it more time than a month and a half to work.

Use finasteride consistently for 6 months first before drawing any conclusions.

Your hair is SUPPOSED to continue thinning when you first start a treatment, as the treatment is pushing out the dormant (telogen) hairs to make room for new hair growth. However, you should start noticing positive effects after 6 months, if the treatment is effective.

And note that 1 mg/day is the ideal dosage for finasteride.

Not gonna sugar coat it bro, you're rekt. In my 10 years of fighting hairloss I've never seen thinning on that scale. And the fact you haven't regrown everything after an entire month of Finasteride literally defies the laws of biochemistry.

Time for high dose oral spironolactone, dutasteride and a mega FUT transplant to save what little is left of those follicles.

Dench is right. Listen to him. If you will ask him nicely, he has a time machine and can tell you if you are finasteride responder in the future.
