I started balding at 16. At age 15 I already started to feel unhealthy changes with my hair and scalp, noticing that something was seriously not right. For years I told my family and everyone else that I was losing my hair, but then I was told to stop worrying so much about my hair and that I'm far too young to bald. All that nonsense stopped eventually when my hair started to appear thinner and thinner overtime.
Personally, I'm just saying that I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss cases like these. Yes, some may just be really paranoid, but there are some like me where we're actually losing hair. My hair still looked thick and decent for a while when I first started balding but obviously that didn't last forever.
