Alternative to minoxidil? Already on finasteride

Hi,

23, been on finasteride for 3 years with great results. Grew back hair and pretty sure I am maintaining almost completely (maybe 90-95%). I also use Regenepure (1% Keto) 4x week. However, I do have very fine/thin blond hair and have a thin hair whorl area that bothers me. I can see a 1/2 diameter of scalp at my vertex as well as see scalp through my hair in bright light (diffuse thinning).

I'd like to not think about this anymore but it seems the only option is to start minoxidil or wait till I need a transplant.

Are there any real alternatives to minoxidil to thicken this up? I just can't imagine putting it on twice a day forever and don't think I can deal with a 4-month shed at the moment.

I know the answer is probably no and I'll just have to make the decision but I wanted to check. Even a 10% improvement would be awesome.

You could possibly make a topical finasteride (crushed finasteride tablets into minoxidil) which could be more potent. Your hair looks great and nobody would even think you're thinning upon close inspection. Congrats

Hey man, your hair is a lot like mine- color, density, etc. I haven't started finasteride yet but I do use Kirkland's 5% minoxidil twice a day and have maintained and even regrew a little in my temples. I am going to be starting Morr F 5% (Topical finasteride with 5% rogaine) tomorrow in place of my evening application of 5% Kirkland's. I can try and keep you posted on the results.
