That won't work. Understand how "dye" works, it doesn't just color, you need to strip the color out and then add color back.
Another option is to get a system that uses "dye-after" as an option. Natural blond hair is used at the hairline, and then dyed the base color to match the system.
I used to order pre pandemic custom lace wigs 1B with 2 inch blond front then dye the front 1B. With no mens custom full caps available for now, I order readily available stock full lace 1B women's wigs, which I thin down, cut in, shape and style, then apply Perfect Line Lace Wig Knot Concealer.
