Alternate Use Of Finasteride - 2 Months On, 1 Off

Hi, I have read and heard lots of good things about Finasteride, so I would like to get on board with it.

However, I am a blood donor, and as per the restrictions, I cannot donate blood if I have taken Propecia/Proscar in the last 4 weeks. I am not comfortable with stopping saving lives for a mere cosmetic issue.

Would it make sense to alternate 2 months taking Finasteride, rest 4 weeks, donate blood, and repeat? Would I get any better results than not taking it at all, or would it just be a waste of effort and money?

I wouldn't want to be fluctuating my DHT levels so frequently like that, I would say definitely don't.

You'd be better off just not starting finasteride at all if you intend to do it in such a manner.
