Alpecin

I am looking to rotate nizoral with another shampoo. Has anyone got any information on Alpecin. It's marketed here in the U.K for hair loss. Any truth behind it or just another scam please?

Gimmick.

Try Regenepure shampoos, I like them.

Crap.

It's from China, most likely.

This guy and his partner push Regenepure at every opportunity.

The caffeine in it has some evidence behind it. There are plenty of others that contain it though- Divine Skins' contains it and other goodies.

tried alpecin when I first started out about 3 years ago.

Pros
smells good
has caffeine and zinc
gives a little jolt in the morning
leaves hair looking good
helps with dandruff
not harsh or drying

cons
does nothing for hair loss
poorly designed bottle (comes out too fast)
expensive

I was on it consistently for about a year and it did nothing for me.
It falls in line with nioxin and other such treatments
