Alopecia areata?

I am losing patches of hair (about 2-3 inches in diameter) on my legs. Is this alopecia areata? I'm gonna book an appointment with my doctor. Hopefully it won't spread to my head.

I just posted a similar thing in the shedding topic. I've been on minoxidil/proscar for alittle over 4 months and can pull out a decent amount of leg hair and chest hair. I also notice a decent amount of eyebrow and nose hairs too?!?
My hairline is turning to sh*t and looks like dolls hair?!

Im am now quite worried about this!!!
