almost 4 months on finasteride

Hey guys, Im coming up on my 4th month of .5mg daily dose of Propecia and haven't seen any significant improvements. I think I've been seeing less hair falling out but no thickening/re-growth. I am at a more calm mental state knowing that I'm doing what I can for my hair though. I also noticed two single hair follicles thicken up amidst a sea of vellus hairs that once used to be my hairline... is it too early to assess anything at 4 months? What do you guys think?

I'd get on some sort of minoxidil product ASAP to work in conjunction with your finasteride. Then if that doesn't work, supplement accordingly.

Still early nohawk, 4 months is nothing.

Good to hear Petchsky, cause I thought evolutionary's advice was one of the worst I've heard in years.

lol oookay... just restating the obvious, that you've got a better hope of regrowth by using both minoxidil and finasteride in conjunction. The earlier you start treatment, the better chance of success you've got, that's all I was getting at. If you're content with using 1/2 the prescribed dosage as normal for finasteride w/nothing else, then more power to ya, man, I hope it works out for you.

One thing left unsaid, and again probably restating the obvious, but that's my strong suit -- if you're using half the dosage, your hopefully positive response time may take a little longer.

Good luck! :)

I noticed minor testicular pain once in a while and watery semen the first two months but both are completely gone... so I haven't been feeling any side effects recently.
