Allergic to Tape - Should I Even Consider Clear Glue?

I have extreme sensitivity to all toupee tapes & have always attributed it to the acrylic.

But even a fair assumption to make?

I didn't consider it much - I just jumped to Ghostbond because I heard it's really good & I can buy it for nothing from my local beauty supply.

I like Ghostbond but I dispise the cure time, which I find to be a near deal-breaker.

Is there anything else in the content of tapes that could be causing me to flare up? I know acrylic is a common allergen among ppl, the way, say, nickel is.

There are hypoallergenic and medical grade tapes available (Walker?) that might work for you. Adhesion time might be less than conventional tapes though.

Tried many, many of them. Get a little more wear time out of them, but it's much. Once the irritation gets to a pt, you just can't keep it on without it getting worse & worse.
