I think everyone can agree that the tolerance and anti-censorship policies of this site is what makes it so great. We all like to joke around on occasion, but even some of the more extreme pranksters here (like Hair McHair, StingRay, and Olorin) know when to say when. Lately it has come to my attention that things are getting out of hand with a certain newbie by the name of Ded Prez. I have scanned some of his posts and it's obvious to me that he has no intentions of contributing anything to this site or the people who frequent it.

So let's make this a simple majority rule vote here, All in favor of
Ded Prez
The Real Ded Prez
and any other "Ded Prez" alaises getting banned say "Aye"
All against such a measure say "Nay"

Ded PreZ was sensationalized because posters responded to his bait. Ignore his stupidity, ignore his antagonism, and he might have shaped up or left a long time ago. Whoever he is I couldn't give a rats ***, But If he has legit hairloss concerns and questions i will help him. I do agree though that his captions are offesnsive and should be canged.

Ahh, no offense cosmo gene but this isn't an opinion thread. If you want to abstain from voting that's fine, but the purpose of this thread is to get a consensus view on whether Ded head should be banned or not.

I am certainly not about to lose Bruce (IMO one of the most helpful posters on these forums) for a worthless filler. I would also prefer this place doesn't turn into alt.baldspot2....

I completely disagree. Nobody can say anything more rude or hateful than the things he has said here or the things he had in his sig, not even sailors. And most of it was completely unprovoked, not in response to people yanking his chain. He started threads threatening people with the worst of language and making a point of starting threads in the female forums intended exclusively to insult them.

He's a flamer, he's a white kid, and he's not even a wigger. He's a white racist that thinks it's funny to talk black and act like a complete shithead, intending to thereby insult black people. If I started acting like some kind of cliché Arab terrorist and saying I was going to shove my dick up your wife’s *** and kill your daughters after my camels raped them you would not think it funny but rather would see it was an attempt to slander a people. He said those same things here but in far worse language.

BruceLee edited most of his recent stuff so you guys apparently missed the worst of it. Also, a couple days ago I took him under my wing and explained to him that if he wanted to be a flamer he had to mix it up a bit with humor and fake topics and stop unilaterally starting threads to insult and threaten people otherwise people would start to ignore him. At almost the same time BruceLee started cautioning him and forced him to take "f*** you White Crackers and Die!" out of his sig (not an exact quote, I forget). So he has gotten a little more sophisticated in the past 24 hours.

I don't care if he stays or goes. But don't think for a second there is anything sincere about this guy. He is a white racist punk kid here exclusively to push people's buttons. I am posting this just because I feel bad for BruceLee that you guys seemed to have missed all this crap, and the fact that BruceLee has been turning the other cheek and trying to clean up after the guy has made his efforts all the more thankless because you missed a great deal of it.

I was completely unaware of the severity of this situation. I started this thread to back Bruce up. We go way back (in hair loss forums terms) and I know him to be nothing short of the Dali Lama when it comes to hair loss advice. The time he gives us kids is true charity. I personally have learned more from him than from anyone else who frequents this site. The thought of losing him because of some racist with a dial-up is horrible.

There has to be boundaries for this site. Without any we might as well ask Ernie to come moderate. :freaked2:

Oh yeah, Moderators should have the power to ban people. If Bruce banned him yesterday it never would have gotten to this. You would have let him back on the site today and that would have been the end of it.

Please fix that, nobody does it that way. Moderators are here first and foremost to have the ability to stop problems such as these by banning people, they can always appeal to the Admin when he drops in, that is the procedure.

BruceLee was unable to do that and is not a Moderator. I would leave, too.

could be condsidered humorous. It wasn't in the spirit of the women's general hair loss discussions and it HAS to end. There are way too many women who read HairLossTalk.com and NEVER post. It's pretty obvious the women don't think much of your antics...by and large, the women have ignored you. Should be telling you something, dude. Many, if not most would find your comments offensive. The posts should provide information, understanding and/or sympathy. Or course, humor is appreciated...in the right place and the right time.
