i agree with the following statement which i found on the hairsite forums. it was made a couple of months ago by someone called flux....

Hi all,

I had been using Avodart for three months, then a pause of a couple of months and then Dutas for the last three months.

While on avodart, my skin was drier than usual and I was noticing some regrowth. After starting dutas I can't tell I have noticed drier skin or any regrowth.
On the contrary my loss rate is similar to the one before having started taking dutasteride.

I have some doubts that Dutas really contains any dutasteride or that it contains the 0.5mg it says. I know all the theory about Dr. Reddys being a legitimate company etc.

I'd like to ask the people using Dutas. Do you see any noticeable results/side effects that show that you're not taking just a placebo?

Thanks

Interesting. I havent really seen any regrowth on dutas/duprost, but a massive shed 3 month mark and starting to have another 5-6 month mark, so maybe it just take time. Your dry skin may have stopped as this side effect may pass with time, it may not be related to the switch from avodart to dutas.
Our best hope, anyone on dutas/duprost have good results?
Oni, ive been reading about your results? How are things going? Are you using generic brands?
