Hey guys I am just wondering how do you classify hairloss as aggressive? Is it by area, speed of progress or some other measurement?

TBH I am quite curious to know on average how fast does male pattern baldness progress.

Usually the speed is what matters, but it also tends to refer to a young age of onset. The two go hand in hand usually.

What Boondock said is correct. Also the type of loss is important. Those with diffuse thinning are the ones who usually progress past NW3.

Thanks it is because my hair loss is mainly in the frontal area, and seems to have halted, at least temporarily. So I am quite interested in knowing how aggressive my hair loss is, since my crown area is extremely thick.

The derm actually wanna start my treatment in a month's time but I went ahead to get finasteride today lol.
