Hi I have aggressive male pattern baldness or so I believe and have a couple of questions that make me double take at my regular routine. I am 19 and here are my hairline photos http://i.imgur.com/SB4LkXa.png and http://i.imgur.com/QPH9Kvv.png

Should I just take finasteride and nizoral and hope for the best or is it worth it to include min? I tried min for 3 months and got no shedding or anything and it was a pain (I know you are suppose to use it for 6m+). Should I be fine on finasteride and nizoral with this hairline at 19 or should I just bite the bullet and keep apply min twice a day.

I'm also up for advice on general. By the way on finasteride for roughly a month now, no sides other then 20-30% lower libido (possibly).

Thank you in advance.

Your hairloss isn't bad (Norwood 2). Just give finasteride and Nizoral a year.

Minoxidil is a hassle, but taking it once a day at night is like brushing your teeth. It's 2-3 minutes extra to your nightly routine, so no big deal.

Throw some supplements and sh*t into the mix: biotin, pumpkin seeds, saw palmetto. Along with Big 3, you'll have an aggressive regimen on your hands.

In case of aggressive alopecia, in most cases you can only hope to slow it down. I take finasteride and use minoxidil foam, but I only got worse, slowly but steadily.
Can you define slowly but steadily? Just want to get a general time fame that others have gone through as they are hard to find sometimes.

Would you honestly call this "aggressive" balding?
People use age to determine how aggressive the male pattern baldness is I believe. So if you have it at a young age (19) and started when I was 18 then it would be labeled as aggressive I think.

Aggressive balding is male pattern baldness progression at a fast rate. If you drop a Norwood or two every year then it's aggressive. Sometimes male pattern baldness can start young but progress slowly but in most cases if it starts young, it's going to progress quite fast.
