you know, i'm going to sound like a dick for saying this and all but i never got why you people kiss xzel's ***..i find his posts annoying.. i personally don't give a sh*t what number, etc.. he shaves his head every week

ANOTHER example of hopewas putting in his 2 cents and AGAIN, it has to be negative about a person on the board.

Ever hear of the saying: "If you dont like what you see here, get the f*** out."?

your comment is funny.. if you believe that, i'd say you're contradicting yourself..don't you think? dumbass

I did an 'against the grain' 2 weeks ago. My attitude was "if I have a crap hairline, don't have a hairline". ..

i feel the same way, and i'm close to just saying f*ck it , and shaving my head for good.

I'm debating a 4 top - 2 sides... that's all i can do.. my ears could double at communication control towers.

on that note.. maybe i should take the money i was saving for a hair transplant and have my ears pinned back so that I look good bald.... hrmm.

Although shaving was good while it lasted, I am now letting it grow for a little while. I figured that If I am not keeping my hair forever why not enjoy it while I have it!

I've had my head shaved (or clippered should I say) to a grade 2 for the last year since I decided my hair was looking crap long due to the hairloss (I'm only 21 fs!!). Recently I've gone down to a grade 1...it looks ok, but since I'm receding at the temples and thinning on top its still obvious I'm losing my hair. Damn I wish I made use of the time when I was 17/18 when I had girls falling at my feet!! Now the was the life...

I don't want to close shave all over cos it would look crap on me, which is why I am dreading losing all my hair on top cos frankly I will look stupid...as if losing my hair isn't bad enough I think I have a weird shaped head, kinda got a lot of bumps over it. Plus I got kinda a ridge running down the middle which will be even more obvious when I lose everything.

I was reading "Congo" a few days ago and read this: "The sagittal crest (the bony ridge running along the center of the skull) was a distinctive feature of the gorilla not found in other apes of humans;it was what gave gorillas a point-headed look".

And thats exactly what I got! Maybe I'm related to a gorilla

Well, shaving against the grain is something that I will never attempt again since I am someone who is prone to ingrown hairs, but you can bet your fine dollar that I will be doing it with the grain sometime this coming summer, when it's hot and sizzly. Anyone else having success shaving with a razor?

against the grain

I have been going with/against, around, the grain for three years. I will try to post pics later, I have before, but I have others too.

I don't know about you, but your head on your head grows and goes in different directions, so if you razor shave your head, at some point, you are probably going to go against the grain. I always do on the back (stroking upwards), because that angle is difficult to hit with the grain and still get all the hairs. When you shave your head, you DEFINITELY don't want patches of hair that are noticeable in the light.

I used to use aftershave, but realized that it didn't help, but just caused a burn and reddness. I am very white, so my skin is sensitive to that already.

I should just post a new thread on this stuff, since I see a lot of questions about, and I think I might be the only guy who has been doing this regularly for several years.
