After cutting a finasteride talet into pieces where do you store it?

At the moment I'm cutting my finasteride 5mg tablets into 4 pieces and then putting them back into the wrapper from which I have just taken the pill out of. I only cut one pill at a time and only cut the next one once I finished the previous one.

Is this a bad thing, leaving them exposed to the air? By the time I get to taking my 4th quarter, it has been exposed for 3 days.

Should I be putting them into a pill container? Should it be air tight?

What do you guys do?

I don't think it really matters, but I just put the bits into the holder at the front of the pill cutter thingy

Its recommended to store all cut pills regardless of what they are in an air tight container and store in a dark dry place like a cabinet but preferable not in a moist location like the bathroom.

I store it in a ziploc bag in my cabinet.....An airtight container would be a good choice too.
