After a shed

Hey Guys,

Question here:

I've been on Proscar 1/5th a tab a day for 3 months now and recently went through a shed. I can see the areas that it has affected. My question is does the hairs that had shed regrow back later as you continue being on Proscar or are the hairs completely lost. Thanks in advance.

there are a lot of mixed responses to that question. I never shed. the graph does not show a shed. some people grow it back. your hair loss could just be aggressive, and maybe the proscar prevented a bigger shed. get off it now and you will see a bigger shed. maybe in some people a hormone change causes a temporary shed before regrowth.

I´d suggest you wait to see what happens later. 3 months is half the minimum time you should wait for to start seeing results. some people only reap the benefits after a year.
