Affect of Spironolactone on testosterone and DHT

I know I will receive criticism on this post. I'm not trying to be controversial. I just need information. Does Spironolactone block a sufficient percentage of DHT to help with hairloss in men? Does Spironolactone also lower overall Testosterone? Has anyone had success with this drug?

I would NOT dream of taking spironolactone orally if you are a cis male, if you are transistioning, then by all means go for it, but taking it and wanting to stay masculine and not develop breasts(you aren't avoiding that side effect, take spironolactone orally and you are going to get gyno, defintive).

options for cis males -
RU/CB/dutasteride/finasteride, in terms of hormonal route.

I appreciate your input. I'm definitely not trying to transition. I am experiencing water retention from Oral minoxidil. I thought perhaps a low dose of Spironolactone, s

Oops, sorry. Say 25 to 50 mg. Would help and block a little more DHT at the same time.
