I have been losing my hair since I was 23 years old. I am not 32 and the use of finasteride and rogaine has definitely help slow the hair loss. I would have much worse hair loss if it weren't for the medications. Still my hair is wispy and thin. I have a tuft that is strong, but the hairs behind the widows peak are thinning fast. I have good donor hair, and have been contemplating getting surgery. I recognize that I will likely need a second procedure. My thought process is too plug away little by little. Is this a bad idea? Or should I just wait to have these hairs fall out. Pics attached.

If that's wispy and thin then i'm bald. Hair is dense, and good quality.

Good candidate, and well have great results.

You don't need a hair transplant. Stay on the meds, and avoid surgery if at all possible. It's a last resort, and it's not good at adding density to areas where there's still plenty of hair. Surgery can actually accelerate your hair loss, especially in areas where you directly added grafts.

Good advice from arfy. Also well done to you for managing to hold on to what you have. Good luck.
