Can someone help me understand what Norwood am I? Picture is included :)

My story: first post here, but I have ghosted for a while. Great place, I have learned a lot. I am 34 year old Fillipino make and also a finasteride user for over 7 years. Have had 2 kids (boy & girl) both conceived while on finasteride. I have quit a couple of times in between the seven years for 3 months at a time out of paranoia, only to come back to finasteride after seeing pictures of myself and realizing I probably shouldn't quit.

Anyways, I have been considering hair transplant options for my hairline, but I cannot figure out what Norwood I am. I am ok with staying between a Norwood 2 and Norwood 3, but I think I am at a Norwood 3 already.

Thanks for your help

looks like Norwood 2.5 , but for 34 year old your hair looks amazing , did you ever use minoxidil to get some regrowth ?

I have tried minoxidil and nizoral both, have never had any success with minoxidil though. I used the Equate brand stuff from Wal-Mart. 20 bucks for 3 months.

Should I consider a hair transplant?

Like i said you have great hair for 34 year old,if you have money for hair transplant do it. Do a good research for a good doctor. Btw 3 months of minoxidil is litlle time to see if its working or not

Thanks Hang90, I was seeing if anyone else had comments.

I do not have the money but my Doctor offers financing at 5% interest. I am unsure if this is an immediate concern now. Part of me is saying to wait until there is more kids and then consider hair transplant options.

What d you do if you were in my shoes?

i think you should ask in hair transplant section since those member are more experienced in that, but you are in that state that you could just slowly save your money and pay that fully...and make sure you check all options ( talking about doctors), guys in hair transplant will probably recommend you some good ones

if i was in your shoes i would save my money and pay it all at once, but that's just me
