Advice on my new regimen

Hey guys,

I've been lurking on these forums for a while now and learned quite a bit from you guys- thanks for sharing the info. Anyway, I decided to jump into the fray with the rest of you baldies.

I'm a Norwood 3, early 30s, with male pattern baldness. I've been using the big three (finasteride, minoxidil, nizoral) for a year which has done a good job of maintaining what I have. To be honest, I wasn't all that consistent with the minoxidil 5% and I'm not 100% about the quality of some of the finasteride (ordered it from an independent source online, supposed to be Cipla brand but not sure), so I might see a bit of an improvement just from following the 'base' regimen more closely.

I'm totally not satisfied with my hair right now, would like to get more density and improve the hair line, so I decided to get a lot more aggressive in treating this.

A couple of months back I started doing the laser treatment (650 nm, 30 lasers, 150 mw total) and being a lot more consistent with my 5% minoxidil treatment. I've had a tremendous amount of shedding over the last month or so- to the point where my front hairline has receded and has become a little 'irregular' and my hair is noticeably a lot more flat. Obviously I'm hoping this is shedding due to the treatment and not further loss but I'm not at all sure about this- don't really notice any velus hairs yet.

Since I started to shed so much, I decided I might as well add a bunch of other stuff to my regimen and get all the 'shedding' done at once.
I started using Revita approximately 5x a week- seems to be a very high quality product (definitely soothing and leaves hair in decent condition). Ordered some Tricomin conditioner (contains some copper peptides) to replace my regular conditioner. Planning on using L'oreal thicken shampoo or something similar as a prewash before using Revita.
Just order some DNC Spectral for evening application, and 5% minoxidil foam for morning application.
Started taking Saw Palmetto 480 mg 2x daily.

Any thoughts on anything important I might be leaving out or possibly something I should exclude?
I've been thinking about adding NANO shampoo to my regimen, maybe a couple of times a week, or possibly as a prewash and then Revita.
Also wondering if I should add a topical antiandrogen at this point, spironolactone or possibly Ell Crannell (sp?).
Any thoughts on whether the Tricomin conditioner and Revita provides enough copper peptides?
Anyone with thought on 'needling' (Novaderm) or Retin-A to improve minoxidil penetration?
Finally any suggestions for important dietary supplements?

Any info would be of help,

Thanks guys.

ive just started using nano last week and its 'the best shampoo ever'

it really does thicken your hair up. my hairs looked good all week. i dont know if youd get the same effect by using it as a prewash its probably best to alternate with revita.

I really like the condition Revita leaves my hair in...and they seem to throw just about everything possible in there

Anyone have any thoughts on how likely Nano is to cause regrowth? Would it be effective as a prewash? Maybe I can get away with using it only a couple of times a week?

nano should be used 3-6 times a week and be left on the scalp according to dr. proctor for 1-2 mins...i use it 3-4x a week and leave it on or like 5 mins..

and how would you compare nano with revita? if you had to use one which would it be?

Id personally go with NANO....its a nitric oxide compound similar to minoxidil which we all know works.

You can use both though...i alternated nizoral and nano...you could just alternate revita and nano...both should last you 6-8months if you prewash with another shampoo.

did you order your nano directly from Proctor or did you go thru lef.org?

What's cheaper? I'm considering throwing some Nano somewher into my shampoo mix.

lef.org...its 22 bucks there. Keep in mind its a "light" version. The full strength version can only be bought from dr. proctors website and that costs like 40 bucks.
