Advice on my first Regimen

All right, so as the title of the post indicates I need advice on my first hair loss regimen. Sadly I am only 21 years old, I probably started losing my hair at around age 19, but didn't notice until about five months ago. Currently I am a Norwood II.

I went to my doctor and got a prescription for Propecia, but I have been scared to death to start this because of all the horror stories. I have been doing quite a bit of research regarding this subject, but I need to start something soon because if I don't I will most likely progress to a Norwood III in no time. I just stared using Nizoral 2% and the inflamation has gone down significantly.

Now enough about my current situation here is my question:

Is propecia worth the risk? I was thinking of cutting my propecia 1mg down to 0.25mg and taking that daily hopefully to avoid side effects.

Does spironolactone work? And what do you guy's recommended Dr. Lee's spironolactone, or the spironolactone that you can buy from this website?

Thanks in advance :)

i've used Propecia for 3 years and as far as I know there have been zero side effects. If you get side effects just stop taking it and they will go.

The more you worry the higher chance of sides. So when I take it I just imagine it is a vit tablet and carry on with my day.

I take it just as I get into bed with a glass of water.

Ya that's what I am worried about sides that won't go away. I have seen some debates about whether a lower dosage can lead to less sides, anyone have some insight on this?

Last question is has anyone taken accurate before? If so in your opinion is propecia more dangerous or less dangerous?

I was on accutane for 4 months, for those that don't know it has been pulled from the market after some reported persistent side effects. I Only recieved minor side effects that subsided when i stopped the drug. Thanks for the help guys.
