Alrite guys I need your help, lately I have been pretty depressed about my hairloss. I am 22 years old I have fairly deep temple recession and thinning at my crown. I am trying to decide whether to shave my head or not. I can kind of cover up my receding hairline when I style it, but then I am constantly pulling at my hair to make sure it is in the right place.

I will be going to europe for a month with a bunch of friends, and I will be in the water constantly so it will be unstyled alot of the time. My fear is that once I buzz my hair it will become vary apparent that I am going bald to my friends.

I just got my first comment from a friend about my thinning hair. It was from a pretty girl and it really hurt my feelings. She was standing over me and said "Wow you are really thin on top, you will be bald."

Did you guys feel a relief had been lifted off your shoulders by buzzing your hair down? I am thinking about buzzing it down to a number 2 or 3. I would really like your guys advice.

I was in your same position and found I look much better w my hair being buzzed at a 3 or 4. As my hair thins I have to keep buzzing it shorter. It is basically buying me.time until histogen comes through and saves us all, I take the plunge for an hair transplant, or I say screw it and keep buzzong it shorter and shorter. Unfortunately, I dont look good shaved super short.

I'm of the opinion that it looks better shorter if there is a lot of diffuse thinning. I think some people worry way too much. Anyone who is decent looking or better should look just fine. Ultimately it depends on facial features. I think some guys can look good regardless of their hair length.
