G'Day everybody I'm new to this site. I've been losing hair for few years and I have tried to do something about it the last 2 yrs. I started on noukrrin tablets which ofcourse didn't do anything (it was a scam IMO). I then got on Minoxidil (liquid version for the first couple of months then switched to foam due to excessive irritation&itching), Finpecia and Nizoral. I was on that routine for 8/9 months & I stopped losing as much hair and I was pretty much maintaining what I already had and perhaps little regrowth but then I decided to ditch the Finpecia due to side effects. Since then I've been on improved diet, Rogaine foam and Nizoral shampoo 2/3 times a week. I'm still maintaning and haven't been losing much at all BUT now I decided I want to add topical anti-androgen and would like advice on which one to start on. :)

Maybe both ?

I think the reason you're having trouble getting replies is that you're entering the realm of "unproven treatments." There just isn't loads of conclusive info on any of them.

Topicals you might consider are: spironolactone, topical finasteride/dutasteride, prox-n, proxiphen, revivogen, hair signals.

There are varied opinions on each; you'll have to search around a bit here to find information on them. You may also run across info on other topicals like RU58841 and flutamide.

Good luck.
