Advice Needed: Nineteen and Receding Hairline

Hey guys I'm new here and only nineteen, it's great that you're all here to help eachother out and answer questions.

I was just wondering if you all could answer a few basic questions for me related to my hair loss:
Is it already pretty bad?
Is it still an option for me to wear my hair longer with it still looking attractive?
I'm noticing it's receding more on one side than the other, what could cause this? You can sort of tell in the picture.
Do you all recommend I try to get on propecia or another drug?

Start taking finasteride/propecia and try that for a year, and then analyze your hair again. And no, it doesn't look bad at all.

If you want to try and get regrowth (although the hair line is the toughest) then use some minoxidil such as Rogaine (found at pretty much any pharmacy) in addition to finasteride.

If you just want to maintain what you have with a small possibility of some regrowth then just take finasteride (propecia) once a day.

Honestly it isn't bad at all, you still have the middle of your hairline so you can style it a million different ways and cover your slight recession easily if it bothers you. One side receding more than the other is just natural, I have the same problem. People aren't near as symmetrical as you'd think, hairlines included.

It's pretty obvious especially if the one taking a look is also suffering from hair loss of any type but I don't think it's that bad. Take on medication as soon as now and observe effects and results to you and your hair. Hopefully it won't turn out worse and you'll be able to prevent it from getting worse. Goodluck!

Hope on finasteride every 2nd day. Pharm4 all is where I get it and there very good. You could try minoxidil for 6 months on the side thats receded more and then compare that pic to see if you got any regrowth. Your right temple doesnt look really receded to me it could pass off as a mature hairline
