Hello! I really need an advice: I started Minoxidil 5% about 4 weeks ago and I've normally noticed a shedding. I probably lost over 50 hairs everyday, but my condition is not that bad so I only notice that. After the 3rd week I started to have irritation on the scalp and dry dandruff flakes every time I tried to use the comb. I've applied few herbal shampoos but it seems that they don't work at all, so I decided to give up the Minoxidil and don't use it anymore because I can't deal with dandruff as I think it is more embarrassing than losing hairs.
So my question is: Will this have a bad effect on my hair, after using Minoxidil for 4 weeks and then stopping it? I mean, will the shedding continue after the stoppage and will my healthy hair grow back, those ones that I've lost with the shedding, or they will be totally affected by the stoppage of the treatment?
