Hello,

I have been on here a few times in the past and admittedly have not taken any action towards sole the issue, but if possible I'd like to change that as within the last year espcially it has become very debilitating:
- I am in my later 20's.
- I just had a very trying event at the hair dressers, they're very good at their job but the result in what I have leaves me feeling low.
- I simply don't want people to see me, resulting in cancelling meetings with family and friends.
- I work in a public sector job, the shame of that which already overwhelms me but with the thoguht of this hairloss and being out in the open like that makes me want to quit my job - Other job prospects aren't looking good right now either.
- I wear a hat when out and get very edgy.
- I don't know how to tackle this, I struggle with the notion of loss as it just doesn't feel like me and I don't like that it is something I cannot hide from others.
- It makes me feel very inadequate in general.

They're just a few points of concern, I'm still struggling to adapt with this but it's hit hard after the hairdressers this week. I am considering Rogaine/Regaine & am curious to hear other peoples experience with it on a long term basis.

Put some pics up to get a Norwood, and if it’s as bad as you say then you need to get on meds ASAP. If you are on nothing then you’re never going to put a dent in this thing

It's considerable - bare-circled at the back and thinning towards to front. I was considering Rogaine/Regaine but someone on here was saying advising on 2/3 other products... they didn't name them but I was thinking about Rogaine/Regaine as it sounds simple enough and affordable.

Will do nothing unless you’re on a anti androgen. You need to get on finasteride, and wash with a keto shampoo 2 times a week. Please post pics to get a better assessment

Well what are product examples of the others you mentioned? - finasteride, anti androgen someone else mentioned.

I'm on here for advice (and appreciate your time) as this is very debilitating right now,

The finasteride is gonna be your mainstay, the rogaine 5% is gonna be what helps you regrow and the keto shampoo is gonna clean what is in your scalp not to mention that it’s a mild anti androgen. Nizoral is a 1% keto shampoo. What are your father, grandfather in both sides hair like?

The side effects of finasteride, seem alarming, but you say that is the main component for the process?

I have a fair loss at the back, which has a sort of trail of thinning which leads to the front - Which is relatively stable but have noticed it has been getting weaker in the last 6 months too.

As for family, I'm not sure on my grandparents and not seeen my father in 20+ years, I don't think he had signs of it though.

The sides in finasteride are usually very minimal if any. I never had any at all, the trick is waiting, my best results were 2 years into it, and I’m in heavier meds now. 1mg a day is we’re you want to start

No, that’s good for hair and nails but I’m taking about finasteride, name brand propecia
