Advice 20 Year Old Hairloss Sufferer

Hi,

I am a 20 year old Norwood 2 diffuse thinning in a Norwood 5 pattern. Hairloss is sucking all the joy out of my life.

At this point probably no one would guess that I am losing hair. But i am losing hair rapidly and the thinning in a nw5 pattern is confirmed by a dermatologist.

The dermatologist wanted to describe me 0,15mg of dutasteride a day, which I refused because I am too scared of the sides. Before the consult I was really hesitating to try finasteride, so when he mentioned dutasteride I was quite shocked.

Anyone has some advice?

there are only two working medications for androgenic alopecia finasteride/dutasteride and minoxidil (without the finasteride/duts its worthless)
so it's either a functioning dick or a shiny-head in the future ...lol but jk aside most guys recover after they stop finasteride many don't even have sides so if your hair is that important to you it's worth the risk you never know until you try.
