adenosine\adenosine triphosphate?

Anyone know what the difference - if there even is one between adenosine and adenosine triphosphate?

The Shiseido product Adenogen contains Adenosine and has some positive feedback over the last few years but is very expensive.

My local Boots (UK pharmacy) sells a product which contains adenosine triphosphate which is a fraction of the price.

Anyone know anything about this stuff?

It's been around for years, I tried it, nothing. I think, if it were really useful, it would have caught on by now.

So, the consensus is that Adenosine including Shiseido Adenogen are nothing but cosmetic thickening products at best then?
