First off I am a woman and have slow hair loss and topical spironolactone has slowed down my loss..I have some regrowth from Minoxidl..I am NOT having children so not this is NOT a concern..Dont want to do orals unless this fails and have to.
My Dr said I can add topical finasteride
Just curious what anyone knows..if it's a 'weak' anti androgen can still help me as topical spironolactone helped some and i am not having super aggressive or advanced.

Anyone have expense curious to hear pros and cons?

If your Doctor says you're good to go, and you're 100% convinced you're not having mini "hairblues" then go for it. I read topical is more effective than oral, is this true?

although I am fertile myrtle still I am old to have minis and never had the desire/calling....
I don't know if its more effective or not I do feel like the spironolactone slowed down my shedding but also doing minoxidil so hard to say.
I figured I can try this for few months and see if it really does the trick..if not I wont stay on it.
@rclark has good progress with just topicals (think)
