Adding MSM/liquid saw palmetto to minoxidil

Was wondering if you guys noticed over at HLH that people have been adding MSM topically to there regimens? I was unsure about MSM to do anything other than thicken hair diameter not grow new hair or convert vellus to terminal.

Also was wondering if anybody has added Saw Palmetto to there own 5-15% minoxidil solutions?

MSM is a great anti-inflammatory, as well as other benefits, so it can't hurt adding some to your minoxidil

well that study Folliderm did (take w/ a grain of salt of course) seemed to indicate some absolute benefit to MSM topically. Orally it is very good stuff, apparently helping cell walls to be more permeable, allowing toxins to be removed easier and nutrients to be more easily absorbed....

I would go to that hair-basics.com web site. They have a study that indicated MSM was effective in helping with loss/growth. Dont know if i would say it was unbiased to totally accurate but it may be informative anyway.....

Theres lots of studies regarding MSM and its benefits for skin, hair and general health. You just have to look for them.

Internally, yes there has been a few studies, but he had asked about any topical studies and I dont know of any other the one sponsored by Folliderm at hair-basics.com which could be tilted in Folliderm's favor obviously.........

sorry for the delay in your response, Ive been on vacation. Actually all Ive ever done with MSM is taken it internaly for sore muscles, its a great anti-infalmatory. It definately helps my hair, skin and nails. It wont stop baldness though if you arent already using minoxidil,or proscar and nizoral, but its good get it growing faster and healthier. Ive contenplated adding it to my minoxidil though.....
