i started losing hair around 18-20. did nothing until 2003(22). i started with minoxidil 5% but stopped after 2weeks as i develop itchy blister. around Aug2003, i started finasteride 1mg and stopped around may2004.

until Sep2004, i notice my hair is getting worse and start on finasteride 1mg again until now. i did not take photo last time so i don't know how well finasteride 1mg is working for me, but i feel i am still losing hair but maybe at a slower rate. just last month i started minoxidil 5% again. at first the itch is quite bad until i can't sleep well and i develop rashes on scalp, neck and arms. so i use less than 1ml in the beginning and slowly work up to 1ml now. i still have rashes but it not so bad anymore.

i have been using nizoral 1% on and off until last week i started with nizoral 2% and an anti-dandruff shampoo call ionil T which have 4.25% coal tar and 2% salicylic acid.

now my routine consist of:
finasteride 1mg (everyday)
minoxidil 5% (1ml twice a day)
nizoral 2% (3time weekly)
ionil T shampoo with 4.25% coal tar and 2% salicylic (2time weekly)

any suggestion on my routine??
thinking of adding azelaic acid to my treatment. most likely ordering from the Zix website.

Use 2% Nizoral. Add azelaic acid. Switch to Xandrox. Use spironolactone and Revivogen for extra protection.

Why would you add azelaic acid when there is scant, if any, evidence that it will do any good? One obvious thing that is missing from your regimen is copper peptides, which do have clinical evidence supporting their ability to promote regrowth.

hmm. thanks for the advice. i don't really know much about Copper Peptides and will do more reading on it. i thinking of something like a topical solution that have potential to block DHT.

spironolactone seen a bit too expensive for me. the only Copper Peptides product is Tricomin? there seen to be some other product like Revivogen, Folligen, Crinagen etc that is popular.

so far i found Tricomin and Revivogen is the most popular in this forums.

not me!

I still want to see ONE person that has regrown hair using Crinagen, Revivogen, Azaleic acid, Tricomin, etc. Everyone seems to try these products and I have never seen anyone that could post photos of actual regrowth. IMO, using these products is like waving a fan at a 4 alarm fire. They may look good on paper, but all in all, just dont cut it.
