I'll ask- are you taking activated carbon orally? Does that do anything? I have yet to hear of this.

I am taking Ultracarbon (medicinal charcoal) by merck for my diarrhea today. i have not missed a single dose of propecia since i started 3 months ago so missing a dose make me very uncomfortable psychologically.

I don't know for sure but yes, there is certainly a possibility that ultracarbon will prevent your propecia from being fully taken up. The good news is that you don't have to worry about missing one or two days of propecia. It won't make any real difference.

Personally though I wouldn't recommend ultracarbon. Did your doctor tell you to take it? If so then go with his / her advice, not mine. But if it's something you decided to try on your own then you're better off not using it. Do you have food poisoning?
