hey guys , as you may know , propecia doesnt work in my case , and minoxidil too.
Certainly duta would work , but i am getting sides with propecia = puffy nipples , erectile dysfunction.

So, if i was 100% sure the cure would be released in 2020 i would be very happy and i would just stick with propecia 1 mg and minoxidil. However i am frightened that all this hype will fail , and there will never be a cure .
I would regret the fact of not taking duta to keep my current hair . I would get ED and gyno but my hair .

Are we sure that at least a small cure like brotzu or histogen will be released in 2020?

The only true cure that will ever exist for male pattern baldness would be to find and destroy the gene that causes it before conception or at birth, the only thing we can hope for in our lifetime is that they will release a pill that works to re-open the hair follicles and causes hair to regrow, that is a long shot as hair follicles don't just go to sleep, they die out. That being said, the best we will probly get is a pill that is basically propecia but with out the sides and works better. Also something like rogain but stronger, or better yet, a pill that does what Propicia and rogain does combined with zero sides and works twice as good and keeps hair growing for a longer period of time after you get off.

Most likely we will be maintining our hair for the rest of our lives, if we stop, the hair will die and not come back.

^^ he just assumed everything in that post, not one fact was written so please take what he said with a grain of salt.

We're def in a better position than not having any potential treatments.

I don't even know if propecia works for me I've taken it on and off with 3-5 week breaks every couple months, I've def lost some hair but would be so much worse without it for a fact.

All we can do is remain hopeful but don't put all your hope in these future treatments.

I still don't get it. What does it mean dead follicle? If I see small thin 1 mm length hair, so the follicle isn't dead? Or is it dead because it doesn't produce visible hair?

I think he means shiny slick baldness. No hair. Even though I think a dead inactive follical could somehow be reactivated. That's only me hoping though.

Humans are very emotional creatures. Based on history there will not be a cure for a very long time. Just use what exists and pretend things will stay how they are. There might not ever be a cure its a realistic possibility.

You are clearly unaware of what is going on in the science right now. Also, a "cure" as I've said to exhaustion on these forums, is any treatment that relieves the symptoms of the disease — you don't need gene editing for that.

People need to quit using this frankly dumbass reasoning. Based on history, Propecia, Rogaine and transplants shouldn't exist. Based on history, Polio shouldn't have been vaccinated. History is not an indicator of technological or scientific progress in the least; you'd think people using computers and smartphones would know that.

In regards to your question about Tsuji, Michel: Organ Tech stated in their interview with Hairloss Talk that they are still on track to release the treatment to the public, starting in Japan, in 2020.

Histogen is in its final clinical phase (the first treatment to do so since Propecia!) in Mexico and is expected to be released in 2018 as is Shiseido's treatment (Japan) which could potentially be a permanent solution.

The Brotzu lotion is expected to be out 2017.

The way I see it is this:

In the next few years, there are going to be better options to maintain the hair that you have and combined with conventional transplants, it will see a great many people cured.

The 2020s will be the decade where people who've been bald for many years can finally get their hair back.
