Looks like you possibly always have had a high hairline, I'd say Norwood 2.5 ish

Hairline is pretty high, but some people are just born that way. You have pictures of your hair when you were like 18?

I think my forehead was always kind of big, the bad thing is that because of that it makes normal "maturing" hairline or slight recession look really bad. Do you guys still think I have enough thickness on top or should I go on finasteride or something? I might have my hairline surgically lowered eventually anyways. I am thinking of getting a haircut soon so my hairline won't look so dramatic compared to my hair.

The front side of your hairlines are having some hair loss, but overall it seems that you may suffered from early baldness which is also known as male pattern baldness. So, its better to have a concern about this before getting bald.

I am actually planning to consult a dermatologist this summer about my hair. In the mean time, do you think that I should go on finasteride or start using Minoxodil?

finasteride & minoxidil are always the first recommendations, though be weary with finasteride of possible sexual side effects.

Crown looks fine. Appears your hairline has always been that high. Actually think your hairline looks worse in the 18 year old photo, but probs just the picture. May have some thinning going on, so derm appointment wouldn't hurt.

you effeminately have some thinning going on IMO. Hairline looks fine for the most part but its the thinning down the middle centre you should be concerned about.

You should consult with the hair restoration expert rather dermatologist about your hair loss problem. You should not take any medicine without consulting any experienced Doctor who can given you proper knowledge of what exactly your problem is?
