what are your experiences with baby-hairs. did they get strong?

i got many of them and they came mostly about 4 months ago. some are growing now, but they are still thin. i hope that they get really strong hairs.

what are your experiences?

Ok with my regimen, up until now theres a line of newly dense strong hair. Hairs are continuing to grow filling in all the then-dying hair, Weird.

got a ton on my temples, especially my right temple which is worse than the left. they've been light vellus hairs for 4-5 months now. some turned terminal and dark but some didnt.

I have plenty of them on my temples and some along the hairline but I'm still waiting for them to get thicker, I have 2 or 3 normal hairs regrowing just in front of my hairline though.

Seems like everybody here, including myself, have only been waiting for these new "baby hairs" to get thicker for no more than 6 months.

I'm curious if anybody here has gone maybe 12-18 months and these hairs still stayed this size?

I have a lot more hairs that are right about in between from being classified as terminal and vellous. I'm guessing that it will just take more time for them to increase in size.

nothing happens overnight. slarti posted about how it took him 2 years to realize the full potential of avodart. hair loss doesn't occur overnight in most cases, it takes 2-3 years before people realize they are losing hair, so it's not unreasonable to think it will take that long before the maximum results from the medications are realized. just my $.02
