about 6 months into propecia.... touched scalp... hairs?

Now, my dosage has varied over the 6 months from 1.0 mg down to now 0.25 mg every night before bed... (Because I'm paranoid that I'm getting headaches from the drug during the day when awake) .... haha

Anyway.... around a month ago i noticed when i touched my scalp (all in different areas) from certain angles i could feel a whole bunch of shorter hairs coming in under my longer hair... wondering if anyone else on propecia has experienced this? its not as much now, but do you think thats new hair growing orRRRRR the regrowth of male pattern baldness hair that are slowly shrinking?

interesting though, because all my life my hair has grown together and for whatever reason ive got random hairs now growing at different times. hard to explain. Could be the beginning of the end.

i noticed that same thing about 4 months or so when i started, probably new hairs or reversal or miniaturization with thicker terminal hairs

i had the same thing,i think mine was new hairs cos they were like stubble

if they feel like stubble, it prob means they are somewhat thick, n not vellus - like.

yeah they were like stubble... have u guys had a second round of them at all? im hoping it happens again hehe.

All ive been taking is 0.25 mg of propecia.

Well I never had that My best experience is a slowing down of the male pattern baldness, However whether your taking 0.25 or 1mg Your getting about the same effect, If 0.25 works then 1mg works and vice versa, But in some that small difference seems to lessen sides.

where is the data on that .2mg is "less sides" than 1mg??? you guys always say this, where is the scientific data?


the data i have seen is that 1mg compared to 5mg is virtually the same

Yeah I got the same thing. They are (very slowly) getting thicker. I'm at about month 10 now and they're more or less fully grown in.
