A word on Revivogen

I know it's been on the market for years now but I was quite surprised not to find more reviews/feedback on hairloss forums.
It was either people bashing it straight away or people 2 weeks into it saying "meh I dunno man".
When I started shedding hair I was looking at an alternative to minoxidil (already have painful, itchy scalp thanks) and Fina (because having sex is cool), this appeared to be the safe bet, I still had quite a lot of hair, it claimed to stop hairloss and that's all I needed. Plus it was endorsed by this website and their wbesite didn't look that sketchy.

I bought 3 boxes (9 months treatment in theory, more like 7.5 months actually), for something like 300 dollars. After all they would give me a refund if it failed right ?

I am taking time to write this thread so that no more guys fall for this scam.

I have been using it for like 7/8 months and the least I can say is that it didn't keep it's promises, at all.

The only brillant thing about Revivogen is the marketing campaign.
It claims only mild results like slow down shedding, maybe regrowth, if not in 6 months maybe in one year, or not...

So you just go with it, your hair keep falling but you don't know if it's a lil' better or a lil' worse, so you wait and wait, with your hairline slowly receding wondering how worst would it be without reivogen.
It claims no side effects, yet the product smells terrible, it makes your hair looks terrible (very greasy, like you have been drowning in your sweat for days), it facilitates dry, tichy scalp.
Plus you gotta wash it away every morning, which is very damagable for hairs and time consuming.

It was supposed to stop shedding 6 months after I started using it and it didn't, it didn't regrow anything of course.
And when they say "you give you your money back if your aren't satisfied" they mean "we refund you your last order if you manage to ship it to us in time.

Tricky point is you can only buy scalp therapy for 3 months and they want to have 90 days later at the latest !
Plus you gotta keep the empty bottles and stuff ... But since they tell you to use it for at least 5/9 months you will still have 2 packs unrefundable.
So the garantee works only if you are in the middle of your 3rd/4th pack and you manage to send it back to them on time. Yet they still sucked a few hundred dollars out of you you ll never see again.

TL;DR : Congratulations for your marketing/manipulations techniques revivogen. You keep into business selling a useless, pricy product and this is quite impressive even nowadays.

If you wanna hate, saying that if it didn't work for me doesn't mean it can't work for the rest of you guys, please, I beg you, please post pictures of people stabilising using revivogen ONLY as a hairloss treatment.
And the 10+ picutres on their website that look like they were taken 10 years ago don't count.

You won't be able to. I know, I searched for it whilst I was taking it. The only positive results from revivogen were from women or people taking finasteride or minoxidil on top of it.
And if you want my opinion, massaging your scalp with your fingers only will give you as much benefits as revivogen. Minus the price/smell/look.

Thank you for your time.

When I first came across Revivogen years and years ago..before even seeing any of these hair loss forums..what turned me off was their infomercial-like advertising. So their marketing didn't work for me then and it never has. Notice they don't even use or talk about the liposomal delivery system anymore- if they ever really did use such a thing. I'm assuming the price is the same or more since then..so it's more $ for them w/out it.

the only three proven treatments for hair loss are minoxidil, finasteride and nizoral to keep your scalp at its best. surely spending $ 300 would make someone research the results first before buying! not everyone has sexual sides on finasteride, in fact Im sure some people have experienced increased libido even. and i think minoxidil foam hi less harsh on the scalp, smells horrible though imo.

Huh?? You think Nizoral is a "proven" treatment for hair loss? Explain to me exactly how that happened.

Be interested then on your opinion on those studies people have posted on HLH on nizoral compared to P.O. and Head and Shoulders, I'm sure you've seen that study?
I think there were others comparing it to minoxidil 2% which is a rather weak comparison imo and I am not sure if I am recalling this correctly.

I'm only aware of maybe a couple of such studies at the most, which surprised me considerably when the other person said that Nizoral is supposedly a "proven" treatment for male pattern baldness.

A couple of studies? Gosh...it seems nizoral would be an OBVIOUS choice then.

Well everyone constantly talks about the big 3 and it is known to be nizoral, propecia and rogain. As far as I am concerned it should be called the big one because propecia is the only chance in hell you have keeping hair long term.
I tried revivogen and yeah its a pretty good scam they have grab a bunch of things with some small studies showing they could work then mix them up and sell them. If each guy just tries it for 6 months they make a killing with how overpriced it is and it has like 0 evidence it actually does anything at all. Again we have tons of topicals and mixtures but none of them are proven to do anything so its all a big crapshoot and the odds are not in your favor.

I also used revivogen and had 3 boxes worth as well but it didnt do anything for me at all for the 5 months that i used it, I considered sticking with it for a year but I didnt see any results at all such as a reduction or shedding or anything of the sort like they mention you get withing the first 3 months.

The only thing I don't understand is why this website is endorsing such a product ? Giving it 5 stars etc ...
I mean when you first get here you read "Yeah, enough of the snake oils, here is what you need to do". Than you take a look at the forum and you see tons of dedicated people posting every single new study they can find so you think : "hey a website that finally looks legit".
