Hey folks, I'm new to this forum.....so here's my first post:

I'm a 27yo male who has been taking propecia for 6 months and showing some slowing of hairloss. I'm thinking of switching to dutasteride, which I'm aware is more powerful, and I am wondering if dutasteride picks up where propecia left off or if I'm going to be starting from square one again (in terms of how long I'll need to wait for the effects). I'de especialy like to hear from people who have had noticabely good results from dutasteride.

Moreover, where is a reliable place to order dutasteride from?

Thanks in advance for your help!

regards

it can be positive or negative

example : a member on our dutch forum is switched from fina to duta , sinds duta is more powerfull, he keep getting sheddings, that would not stop , even after a year , or so he says ....

from my experience , im currently 27 , i started using duta when i was 25 , i'm on it for over 1,5 years now , using it every day
it took duta 9 months to show positive results
i did get 2 sheddings , one big one at 3 months (so heavy i was thinking : at this speed im bald in 2 weeks...)
and the second one was at 7 months , but smaller...

after 9 months it just go better and better....
i cant complain about duta , but there many people that have sides
if you count a lower libido as side-effect , i have it 2 , but still its worth it... i still can have sex , but more limited then before i used duta , if you need numbers , with duta 2 times a day is no problem , before duta 6 or 7 times was no problem , i think its more a good thing , it was clearly that my hormon-balance was too high...
happy with the stuff...

i buy only original avodart with my doctor-prescription
and my Doctor monitors my blood and liver... i need to go every 3 months to him to get a blood-check and then i get 3 more papers to get it at the pharmacy...
if you seeks low cost copys , i would go for dutas ( replica)
my Doctor advice me not to buy a replica online sinds there no qualitychecks on the meds made in india he says...
but for people that there Doctor does not want to give them dutasteride for hairloss, the dutas could be a cheap way out...

duta has a very long half-life, and i've heard that it takes months to take full effect, also there is huge shedding associated with duta due to the increase in free testosterone, so you'll have to take some kind of topical anti androgen with it ie, spironolactone cream.
