Hi just wondering I see A&M and I know they're a scam in your guys view. Is the reason everyone says that because they over price things or because they don't work?

I'm doing it to maintain hair. will it work? i use the dropper (the chemical thing) not sure its name and do the lasers as well as the shampoo and conditioner. He is guaranteeing maintenance.

my Q is: if i stopped using the dropper (it starts with a m i think) will I get a bad backlash as in my hair would get worse quicker then if I never used it?

thanks

I mean Ashley and Martin, by the way.

Good day aussie old mate !

If you start applying minoxidil which is a "life treatment" and then stopping it one day , all the hair that you've gained thanks to it will fall out again after a certain time.

I've used it for one year (Alostil 5% and alopexy 5% : 2 french brands) and then stopped because I had no results (maybe because my hair loss wasn't even considered as a BMP) , about 8 months later : no real change since the day I've stopped applying it.

so It boils down to : all the hair regrown by minoxidil will go out

I hope this helped you

Thanks for the answer, it's defiantly minoxidil that I'm using. It's good to know hair that was there before won't just fall out because I'm stopping. I've heard of a tablet that is also sometimes prescribed, it's name starts with a F. I wasn't prescribed it but some of the side effects of that was developing man boobs or other sorts of problems, is minoxidil a lot safer then that tablet? I know minoxidil can cause irritation though. So my other question is, minoxidil can maintain your current hair and also regrow?

And can anyone answer my previous Q about ashley and martin? if it's just their overpricing everyone doesn't like? I know its a lot of money and you can get cheaper, but it can still work their treatment in maintaining hair? thanks guys

Hello again ,

*I don't know anything about the tablet , given that I've never taken it.

*Yes minoxidil can cause side effects , among them irritation.
But here again I can tell you from what I've experienced that it isn't the case of every product.
As said above , I've taken 2 different brands.

The first one , slightly more expensive than the second one , didn't cause me any irritation or headache or at least so minor that it hasn't really been a problem.
While the second one gave me some sort of headaches or discomfort.

*Minoxidil has 2 proprieties : preventing the current hair from falling (it will fall out within the first month , but it's because it was destined to fall out) and in some cases regrow hair in the balding areas (depends on the areas).

so it can either : delay its falling , either regrow it , the second one includes the first one

hopefully they'll discover something that will more efficiently cure the baldness once and for all.

Thanks for the reply again, so is minoxidils main/worst side effects irritations and headaches? my doctor/guy that is looking at my hair said there won't be any side effects with what I'm using except possible irritation, if the worst side effects are headaches and irritation I am OK with that as I don't have them, thanks in advanced

you're welcome mate , well yeah these are the main and the most common side effects, there are others such as the increase of your blood pressure or heart beating with an uncommon frequency. but again it doesn't occur every time , it's up to your luck.

If you experience irritation or rash, it is from the propylene glycol. There are minoxidil formulas that exclude this on amazon, ebay , etc.

Thanks for the answers guys. Irritation isn't there anymore which is good. How likely is it to get irregular heart beats or increase blood pressure? I've been using it for about 5 or so months now. can it happen at any time or would you know by now?
